I have an HP nc4000 laptop with Win XP and Debian sarge dual boot, in Debian the fan never turns on and the machine gets hotter and hotter. In Win XP the fans comes on when the cpu load gets heavy and the machine stays cool. Can anybody help? Need any more info?
