    Detecting Wireless Card...

What would i have to do to get my wireless card to automatically enable once i put it in? It is automatically enabled on startup but if i take it out and then replace it i have to enable it manually. i'm guessing it's just changing the value in a script but i don't know where to look.

i'm running Kubuntu, if that even makes a difference.

    Thanks.

First thing I would suggest is to do a little bit of research and buy a card that has linux support.

http://madwifi.org/ - This particular wireless driver project actually gets some support from the chip maufacturer Atheros.. so this is where I would start..

    Distro Specific Install directions..
