    I deleted "/home" directory

    I deleted "/home" directory now I cant log in, hence cant use the computer. What should I do?

    Normally I would say login as root and create a new user... but I'm not sure that's an option in Ubuntu since they have you sudo everything with no password.

    Why don't you boot wioth a live cd and make the /home again
    Question: how did you accidently delete /home?

    I dont have the live cd and I typed "sudo rm -rf /home/xxxxxxxx " in the terminal.

    you should be able to get there as root when you log into a textconsole.
    (i haven't actually tried that)(you might have more luck on a ubuntu-forum if want it spelled out)
    Otherwise download a live-cd.

    If you get reallllly stuck let know by pm and i will try it with my compu.
