Video iPod
Alright, so I got an iPod video like... just 30 - 40 minutes ago and I just got home. I know I need Wine to run iTunes (at least I think I do), but I'm not quite sure how to set it up. But I just checked and someone said something about Amorak working, so I'm going to try that. But my question is, how would I go about configuring WINE and also how would I send video to my iPod if I am using Amorak (or is this impossible)? Also, is there a conversion tool for my videos to convert them to the iPod format?

I can't really help much because I'm just not familiar with iPods or anything. However, it might be that gtkpod will satisfy this?

Now I have something that will send stuff to my iPod (yes that worked perfectly!) But now... I need something to convert videos? I tried to use WINE, but I can't quite figure it out. I have it down to the extent that... well, I guess I don't have it down. But anyway, are there any programs specifically made for Linux that will convert a video file?

You could try http://thinliquidfilm.org which will convert and transfer videos to your ipod.
