a short question

HI,
I was over in the thread I started about the Xandros Fun site and was going to answer a question that was asked about the Brother printer...and there is a button at the bottom saying the thread is closed....I was wondering why, since we were in the middle of a give and take.

Core Wizard already gave a reason before locking the thread:

To be honest, when the thread was first started I thought it might get deleted, or at least locked. Apparently, you did, too:

this seems like a nice forum.

Anyway, I really don't think he locked it to be rude or to work you over in some way. He's likely just afraid that it will turn into a flame war, as he stated.

The reason I made the second post about "nobody deleting it" was that I have wandered around on the thread and seen the "drivebys" that people do, we get several a day over at forums Xandros....

I assumed that there was not a problem with the discussion of my site, and I apologize.....

I really do need to get up to speed on those indented threads!

This really does seem like a nice forum and I would like to stay involved, so, I'll take ozar's hint and stick around....
