    Packaging Binaries

    Recently while playing around with the Ubuntu FAQ (the new offical one) there was an entry about creating a DEB package from Java binaries (link) I really liked this idea and wanted to know if there's a way to easily do it with other binary packages such as a flash player or a non-debian compatible app.

    Making a .deb is easy. Here's a tutorial:

    And by the way, Flash is in Debian's apt repositories.
