sound is messed up for Google video

When I try to play Google videos in my broswer (like Terry Tate, office linebacker http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...ice+linebacker), the video plays fine, but the sound is all messed up. It is really high pitched (like the chipmunks), and is choppy too. Sounds pretty much like one of the chipmunks talking through a box fan, in fact.

Any idea how I can go about fixing this?

Isn't that interesting! When I run them on Firefox on SUSE 10, they play fine, but as each second goes by the audio begins to lag more and more. Obviously the player code being used on Linux needs an update. I'd be curious if anyone solves either issue, myself.
