bittorrent PLEASE HELP!
Hi, i have just done a re-install of ubuntu, bittorrent worked almost perfectly before i reinstalled but not its dead! i cannot connect no matter what tracker - port - or client i use, i have set up a static IP on ubuntu so i am constanlty 192.168.2.3 on my router and forwarded the correct port but NOTHING!?!?!? the only thing that is differnt this time round is that i installed ubuntu of a cd not DVD???
please please please help i have read so many things and they just arnt helping!?

I can't find the link, but it's somewhere on the BT site. There's a guide to setting things up behind an NAT firewall. I know that it worked before, but it's worth a try messing with it just in case.

Well you obviously know about forwarding ports - make sure you forward at least port 6881, both TCP and UDP. The simple thing you might have forgotten is to open the port in your firewall to go along with it
