    Can someone explain how to dual boot XP and Debian 3.1 onto my computer.
    I have two hard drives 2 x 30GB

    Simple way:
    Leave XP on master drive and install debian on secondary drive.
    Install the bootloader onto the MBR of master drive (hda). This way you get to choose which OS to boot into during startup.
    Life is complex, it has a real part and an imaginary part.
