nfs problem on debian
Hii,
On my nfs server I get the following messages(from log):
kernel:svc:server socket delayed (sk_inuse:1)
There are many of these in the log. They are also dispalyed on the screen.
On the client I get
nfs_stat_to_errno_:bad nfs status return value:11
nfs warning:mount version newer than kernel.
My server kernel version is a 2.2.20.
Do I have to update the kernel on the server?
Thanks in advance.

Wow, that is pretty old.
You could try updating the kernel. Would not harm.
As for the errors. I dont understand them really.

Thanks for the reply.I am particularly worried about the message 'server socket delayed'.it keeps on repeating on the server!
