Hi I have a bit of a problem with NetworkManager. First I had a Live CD of the latest version of Ubuntu and when I ran the Live CD the NetworkManager allready was in the task bar or how they call it panel. Now I installed the 6.06 version on my hard drive. I didn't do the OEM install. Basically when Ubuntu loads I can see that one of them daemons that its loading is the NetworkManager so when I am in Ubuntu that is in desktop when I open the terminal I type NetworkManager and it says you can only run it as root so I do su and type the root password and run it again and nothing shows up. I tried downloading NetworkManager latest build or whatever it is and I tried running the ./configure like it was described in the text and it didn't work it gave me an error. So can anybody help me make this thing work.
