I installed Kubunutu Dapper 6.06 on my HP ze2000 notebook with XP on the 1st partition.
Grub doesnt seem to have installed it just boots into Kubuntu write away.

Grub doesnt run on boot
I installed Kubunutu Dapper 6.06 on my HP ze2000 notebook with XP on the 1st partition.
Grub doesnt seem to have installed it just boots into Kubuntu write away.
Grub was installed to the MBR and the install prompt detected XP fine.
Please Help. While I hate XP I have no choice but to use it for school.

this is most likely because you don't have a timeout section add this to your /boot/grub/menu.lst (sometimes called grub.conf)
Code:default 0 timeout 30
