OSS sound configuration - need help

    Hello,

i've a big problem configuring my sound card in Debian Linux. I'm using version 3.1 sarge stable.

I've done a new installation, without any additional packages. After that, i manually installed ATI display drivers manually, the X-Server, KDE and some other tools witch "apt".
The sound output of my onboard AC97 sound card worked with no problems.
Now i built in an other PCI sound card. The problem is, that i dont't know, how to reconfigure the oss (open sound system). On the start of KDE, the sound server tells me an error.
The new card is supported by the oss, i daw the chipset on the list on OSSs official website. Its just an old Terratec 128i PCI card. In the BIOS setup, i deactivated the onboard card.

Where i can find the OSS configuration files ? Or is there any gui for configuring ?

    Thank youn in advance.

    Greetings from Germany
