    Diskless Workstation

Hi, I'm attempting to create a diskless workstation, and thus far I have been able to mount an NFS directory at startup via U-boot... by starting the kernel with the mount location, the address of the NFS server, gateway IP etc.

I am haveing NFS timeout issues though, and I am not sure where to adjust the RPC timeout, blocksize etc. for the mounted directory on the client side (my disless workstation).

I thought about modifying /etc/fstab... but that doesn't make sense to me since, /etc/ won't have been mounted when the kernel is booting. Is there a way to accomplish what I want to do? The kernel boots, but it sometimes has trouble mounting the file system...

    Thanks.
