Open Dir's In Same Window ::PLUS:: gtkpod sync

    Hello again everybody,

Thanks for all of your help with the previous issues I posted about, I'm learning heaps.

I now have some more problems that I'm trying to solve. One is I want directories to open in the same window, like in M$ Windows. And the other is I can not get gtkpod to notice my iPod. The iPod I have is a video capable iPod and I am using Debian(Stable) GNU/Linux 2.4.27-2-386.

If anyone can help me with this it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks In Advance

What desktop environment are you using? Gnome? KDE? XFce? Instructions on how to do what you want depend on which you're using.

If it's Gnome you are using, you can look at this thread:

Thank you all for your help. You have helped me solve the problem with windows opening in new windows. I am using Gnome desktop and I still can not get my computer to recognize that my iPod is plugged in. Any tips?

    Thanks Again
