    Whats with firefox not letting me download

    firefox keeps on freezing up when ever i go to download something... i dont know why... it just freezes...

    can someone please help me

    Are you sure you have write permissions in the directory files are downloading to?

    yes, i have total permission of that folder... firefox just freezes up when ever i try to download anything, even saving a picture
    GAH!!!

    Did you try running firefox from the command line and seeing if it outputs an error message? If so, have you tried attaching to the current firefox process with a debugger, printing a stack trace, and sending that to the devs?
