alright, i got a new problem now:

i finally got debian installed on my sata drive and everything
but now i got a new problem

normally for bootup i always used xp ntloader to boot into linux using dd header image of root partition
so id use dd if=/dev/hde3 of=/dev/whatever bs=512 count=1 to write my lilo image file from my root partition and id have my xp load up that image file...

but now:
since my sata drive is detected as hde and not hda
lilo wont install on my hde3 root partition, so i got a big problem cause i need that to install so i can boot into it using xp

so um how am i using debian right now?
im using grub installed on my old main drive to load into linux
basically the grub installed itself on hda mbr and loads my linux on hde3
i thought debian installed it on my hde mbr but no.... it didnt
i even booted my sata drive first on my pc, and my linux didnt load, then i realized grub installed on hda mbr

um, so how do i install lilo on my hde3 root partition? aaah help!!!!

im going to make my sata drive boot 1st on my pc, and install xp on it later on now, and i need that lilo to work!!!! considering im also taking out my old main hda drive out for good...

what do i do??
