I can't install debian on my computers because they have issues with their onboard my ethernet cards. I therefore can't really install Debian with all my needs. Is there a way to correct this?

What is your exact network card model?

I don't know exactly, but I can't get it to work on two computers, because of the recently "updated" ethernet driver for linux.
The first computer is a custom built computer, with a U8668-D Biostar motherboard (LAN: VIA VT6103)
The second is a Dell Optiplex GX1. I don't know the LAN name, but I've gotten it to work with FreeNAS. I could get the network "name" from that.

You don't need them. Just do a minimal Debian installation and we will help you configure your card, once we have the
    Code:
    lscpi
    entry of it.
