installing debian from hard drive
hi all
i downloaded the debian 3.1 sarge distribution 14 cds
and i burned the first cd to install the base system
i succeded to do that and i am now running it but i would like to install the
remaining packages so i am asking if i can install them from the hard drive
without the need to burn the whole cds
can i do that?

yes I guess you can do that, you need to give the partition along with the location of the package dumps there at the prompt:
Ex:
/dev/hda2/DebCDS/
