    I wanted my Debian install to recognise my Nvidia onboard gigabit ethernet adapter. But I can't install it using apt-get because I don't have a network connection, and I can't install kernel-source for that same reason. Anyway.

    Hello
    put a used NIC in from another computer or pick one up real cheap
    at a swapmeet. This will at lest get you up on the internet to download what you need.
