    I hv configured static IP on my ethernet eth0, however I am able to use internet only as root and not as other user.
    i hv been using sudo firefox to open firefox. How do i configure it for other users?

    Hello
    First check the permissions of the
    /etc/network should be 755
    then check the
    /etc/network/interfaces should be 644
