    Monitor, Video Card, Bus ID???



    I've installed the latest stable Debian. When it came to running startx i get "fatal server error: no screen found" and "fatal IO error 104..."
    I think I know how to enter all the specs with "xf86config" and dpkg-recongfigure xserver-xfree86". My problem is I can't find the specs anywhere on the net. Can some one help me find specs for
    iMac G3
    M5521
    s# SG9380BVGGE
    400Mhz
    512K
    L2-64Mb/10Gb/DVD/56K/BB

    I need to know what the monitor and video card settings are.
    -horizontal sync in kHz; monitor type with charachteristic modes
    -Vertical sync range
    -Video Card - chipset
    -Video Memory (8Mb?)
    -Default Resolutions

    i hope someone out there can find this.
