I have win xp on my laptop atm and I want to move to debian. My laptop that I will be putting debian on doesn't have a floppy or CD drive (its an IBM X40), its nice cause its light, but sucks b/c of that. So anyways, will I have any problems trying to install w/an external USB CDROM drive? I'm worried that when I wipe out xp it wont reconize the cdrom drive on reboot.

Thoughts? Experience? Anything?
