Xfree86 settings
Sitting with debian for the fithy eleven'th time, now and cant get x to start.
Have writing many thing from other distros like redhat and ubuntu from their xorg conf list and yet it wont start.
Cant find fonts and my gfx card
Going to check more into this soon but would be nice if someone could reply their setting so I could like copy
Sitting in knoppix right for the moment, have heard that this can be very useful when distros wont start properly but what to do?

Copies of configs from other setups really aren't going to help you. They'll create a lot more problems than they'll solve, if indeed they solve anything. You just need to run the config program--either xf86config if you're running Debian Sarge with XFree86, or dexconf.

Oooh Zelmo didnt see that one coming
Thanks Zelmo
it was only my mouse that was the trick in the end, solved it by reading.
Now I have another problem how can I change my root password easily in debian sagre 3.1?
Its much easier in many many distro's I have used and it's like almost at least 5 as my fingers on a hand.Start for the first time to feeling comferable with this
only my root password though I want to change.

Open a terminal, and type "su" to become root, then type "passwd" and it will prompt you for a new password.
