    Exclamation linux database backup on windows system

    hello,

    i am saving some of my data in a database running on debian linux machine. ip address of this machine is a private IP as 10.200.1.130, parallel to this machine i've a windows 2003 server machine having an IP address 10.200.1.131.

    i would like to know is it possible to make a backup of the databse files which is running in debian linux to windows 2003 system. if yes please let me know how, any tutorials or softwares that can accomplish this task. please give me some easy steps to follow as i am very new to linux system.

    samba

    Hi,

    You can use samba server and you can share perticular directories in to windows machine if you want to configure samba in debian linux check Here
