    Exclamation Configure permissions

I previously had Skype 1.2 loaded without any problems and when it installed to the system it confiigured itself. I decided to try 1.3 beta but I forgot to think about installing previous versions. It changed the permissions such that I can only run it as root from the console. I think it effected Firefox as well since the same is also true of it. I have since removed Skype 1.3 with
    Code:
    #dpkg -P
and reinstalled Skype 1.2 but that's when I noticed the permissions problem.

    :thoughts:

    P.S. I tried the
    Code:
     chown
command but it didn't do what I had hoped.
