    Nvidia & SMP

    Hi all

I've just done a fresh install on a server that has got 2 PIII and a Nvidia card. I found a 2.4 smp & nvidia kernel and would like some info about how I can change to this kernel easy.
I've never changed a kernel before, we've just taken the step over to *nix here after several years with M$.

If you installed the kernel via apt, it should automatically update GRUB or LILO. I think the only thing you may want to change is the default option in the bootloader's configuration file.
