    Hello,

I run a Debian testing (etch), and have an ADSL modem with both ethernet and usb ports.
the ethernet connection with my debian works just fine, but when I can't get it to work with the USB cable.

anyone has had this problem before ? any drivers for Debian ?

    Cheers,

    Jay

Why not just use the ethernet connection ?

Getting the USB to work may not be painless.

What is the exact model of this modem ?

I used to have a USB modem and it took me a week to get it to work ,, My model was Aztech 206 which the USBEagle software worked with..

    check http://faq.eagle-usb.org/wakka.php?w...gePrincipaleUS

I used the new ueagle-atm insted of the usbeagle and it worked like a charm ..
