    Multiple Desktop Environments

Hi, I´m using Linspire 5.0 (debian) and I want to be able to select which desktop environment I want to use at start up. I have kde installed and want to be able to choose to login in enlightenment or fluxbox (both of which I have installed). Any thoughts?

    Thanks.

At the GDM or KDM menu (where you type your username and password before entering KDE), you should be able to select which "session" you want to enter : fluxbox, KDE or enlightenment.

    HI !

i think you enabled AutoLogin. do you enter username and password when you boot up?
in Control Center (kcontrol), look for System Administration - Login Manager - convinence tab. disable Auto-Login

I know what you mean, but no. Auto-logon is not enabled. I logon normally with a choice of logging onto any of the three accounts set up. Perhaps there is a differant logon prompt for linspire than the standard debian distro and perhaps therein lies the problem?

i am not tallking about Login Manager. it doesn't have any option for Session.

when you boot up machine, you get Login Screen, textboxes to enter username and password. this screen has an option or session tab. you can select session from there only.
