    kernel: ncpfs: Connection invalid!

I would like to backup our netware server. So I mount the server volume (ncpmount), then backup with tar and gz. But I always get this message "kernel: ncpfs: Connection invalid!" then stop the backup.
I have compiled a new kernel, but I have got the same message.
    What is the problem?

    Debian etch
    kernel: 2.6.16-2-686

    Thank you!
