Automount configuration options ???
Hi all
I have an Ubuntu Dapper box, connected is an external USB hdd, this works immediately, just plug it, turn it on, automount does the trick.
But now I want to share video's which I have on it to my Xbox, via Samba. The automount feature mounts the drive with 077 and with owner, the logged on user.
I really want to change this, my Xbox is another user, but is not allowed to view the files. I also would like to change the mount point.
In another forum somebody mentioned that an entry in /etc/fstab would do this, but when I do that, there is no automount for the /dev/sda1 any more.
