Swapping video cards
I have Debian Testing running on my PC which has an onboard intel 845 chipset. I want to change to a better ATI Radeon 9000 card I have. Swapping the card and etc. is not a problem but how do I reconfigure xorg to work with the new card??
Thanks inadvance

You can run "dpkg-reconfigure xerver-xorg" or xorgconfig.

Its all gone pear shaped, I run dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg, it does not see my video card, when it ask about what bus it is on it only offers PCI, the card is in the agp slot but I don't know what the format to write it in, when I get to the end and click ok it comes up with another error
xserve-xorg postinst warning:not updating /etc/x11/x; File has been customised
Any suggestions

disable the on-board video card in the bios if it possible.

I did right at the start but it made no differences
I have now gone back to the onboard graphics until I can resolve how to do this
As a footnote, this PC in a miniATX Shuttle type PC, well I spotted the rear fan which is a 100mm long cylidrical type of fan had stopped working so I have spent 2 hours dismantling the fan cleaning and putting it back together. Only to get it back working and then have my KVM switch box starts playing silly buggers and not seeing my mouse in linux
I need a beer
