    Few questions.

Well where to start.. I did a net install of debian and the first issue i'm having is not being able to select anything but 800x600 resolution.. How can I change this to 1024x768? I figured somthing was wrong so I did apt-get install x-window-system, went threw the config etc. nore do i have xorg.conf. Also I have gnome and kde on here and I can't standing using neither of these and would like to remove them completely if possible. I was introduced to enlightenment and I would like to run E16, problem is I don't really think I know enough to get it up and fully running properly. If anyone can point me to a "debian e16 install howto" that would be great. thanks.

    dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86
    for sarge or
    dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
    for etch

You can aptitiude remove kde and gnome but I personally would a new install and when it comes to package selection uncheck everything and just do a base install. Then using the command line install X window system and enlightenment. Good to go!
