Help needed with hba card, qla2xxx module

hey guys I am having an issue with an HBA card (qla2312)... it loads the qla2xxx module at startup, however doesnt come online until I do modprobe -r qla2xxx add it back with modprobe -i qla2xxx... any ideas? I think it is loading the modules in an incorrect order but not sure how to determine that.

i added blacklist qla2xxx to my blacklist file and restarted, same issue, but if i do a lsmod after boot it still shows qla2xxx loaded.

Once I disable and r-enable the qla2xxx module, the device comes up in my /dev and can be partitioned no problems.

    I am running debian 2.6.16-2-686

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Aaron

firmware was not loading for it, installed firmware-qlogic_0.3_all.deb
    and ran: update-initramfs -uv

all is well now it seems, thanks for looking.
