how to show docs with apache
hi everyone, im not sure if this really is the corrent thread to post this on but ill go for it anyways.
im running debian and have been trying to install my apache web server on it for a while. i have successfully seen the main 'testing' screen over the internet but i dont know how to browse files with it. ive set the serverroot and the documentroot to various folders but i still get that main 'testing' screen. any suggestions? thanks!

nevermind! just got it. created a symbolic link to a directory in /var/www
