    Unhappy Keyboard Problem During Installation

    Hello Everybody.

    This is the first time i'm trying to install Linux, so some of my questions might

    seem funny to you.

    However, I'm trying to install Debian 3.1r4 on a pc that already has windows,

    but after i insert linux26 in the first screen, my keyboard freezes (not

    USB keyboard).

    Any suggestions??

    what happens if you don't use the 2.6 kernel (do enter instead of linux26)

    also, how do you know it freezes?
