FTP problems
I have an ftp server that has been running for many years. I needed to create a new directory for a new customer. I created the new user and the new directory. The customer can send and receive from the site but, the files don't show up when I do an ls -al. I can't see them if I use Windows explorer and go to the shared ftp directory. If I use Internet Explorer and ftp in that way, I can see the files. The ftp server is running Debian 2.4.18 and I have sent files from both a Windows 2000 and XP workstation. I have the correct permissions set on the directory and the correct group and owner. I can see the files in all the other directories. Any ideas??
I am logging in as root when I do the ls -al.
