I have an epson 880 that prints everything from Open Office writer, but wont print AdobeReader PDF Files? Am I missing something?...

    Can't print PDF file?

    I have an epson 880 that prints everything from Open Office writer, but wont print AdobeReader PDF Files? Am I missing something?

    post the error message

    run acroread from terminal and watch what is drop out

    I have the same problem. Printing from Adobe Reader (for Linux) doesn't work. There are no errors, there's just no printing and the job doesn't show up in the CUPS queue. The command it uses for priniting is "/usr/bin/lpr -P Epson" (where Epson is the printer/queue name). Maybe there's something wrong with that command?

    (In the mean time you may print PDF's from Evince, at least that works for me.)

    Actually I don't have the problem anymore. I used to have it, but I just tried and it works, don't know why...
