    3d acceleration in etch

    i have a p3 384 mb mem, nvidia geforce fx 5500 with an 80 gb hd i have win xp and dapper installed dualboot.i have a 14 gb partition for etch. can you have 3d acceleration in etch?

    Sure. Just get the drivers from Nvidia's Web site and follow the directions in the README.
    Stand up and be counted as a Linux user!

    Following the instructions on the Nvidia site is a good way to screw things up.
    Go here and do it the Debian way:
