Dns Zone File
We replaced our ISP hosting our DNS to moving it local and using another ISP as our backup. The gentleman that is the Linux Guru set the server up we made all the changes and let the propagation begin. Problem is that our Zone file has errors in it the Trailing dots on the Secondary DNS servers and it of course is pointing to us. Our Guru was rushed to the hospital last night and is sedated. I need to get this done now as no email or other external corrispondance is happening. We are using Debian GNU Linux latest version
Questions: Where is the Zone file located? I know that there can be no blank lines in the file and I have only used VI once so I don't want to mess this file up. And guidance would be appreciated. My all nighter continues
Thanks
