    Question opening ports on server

hi. im using linux debian on a LAN server. this server has internet access and it distributes it over the LAN
what i want to do is open some port forwarding so i could host games while using another comp within that network.
is that possible? could you link me somewhere instead, if its too complicated to write here?
    thanks in advance

hi you need to use iptables the linux kernel packet filter, you can find many document on the homepage of the netfilter/iptables
    www.netfilter.org

i think you want NAT and ip masquareding
but if you search for "sharing net/internet " on this forum yuo will find many topics.
