    Angry Connecting to ISP via Dial-up Modem

    Hi ,

    I want to connect to an ISP via KPPP but right after connecting and hearing modem noises , the connection dies suddenly and phone line becomes free.

    In the logs window it's written that it may be bad authentication. But I'm sure that user-name and password are entered correctly.

    I had this problem with kppp , with gnome-ppp I have the same problem , and also with wvdial.

    Can anybody guide me to solve this problem?

    what kind of modem are you using? is it a winmodem? is it a hardware modem?

    I have Intel 536ep internal Modem.

    I think the problem is in sending username and password.
