    Cant figure out

    I goined my debian box to my local domain. When i try to log in with a domain user id and password it creates a home directory and then just goes back to a login prompt. No error or anything. anyone know what causes this.

    The home directory it makes is home/osca/userid is this ok or does the userid folder need to be in the root of home?
