can you explain a bit more?
you can lock the grub editing through 'lock' command in menu.lst/grub.conf file.

okkk ! set GRUB password. check here.
you can add keyword 'lock' after 'initrd' line in grub.conf/menu.lst file. but problem is, if something goes wrong, you wont be able to edit anything in GRUB shell. in that case, you will need LiveCD to edit/repair conf files.
