Firewall, Router, Web Server layout
Recommend best case setup please. I'm setting up a network, here's what I have:
DSL 'modem'
Belkin wireless router (4port) (nat and firewall enabled)
Debian Sarge firewall dual nic (untested, not sure if I have script set properly)
Debian Sarge web server single nic
windows xp laptop
I'd like to isolate the firewall and web server from everything else. I'm trying it this way but no connecty to internetty from web server side. dsl->firewalleth0-->eth1->router->web server.
Should I stick the firewall behind the router and connect the web server to the firewall and trust the firewall provided by the router to secure the laptop?
