Smile Uninstall Gnome but keep KDE

Hello, I just installed Debian to a workstation computer, and it seems tasksel installs Gnome by default. I prefer to use KDE, and I find the KDE menu to be quite cluttered with redundant Gnome applications.

Is there any way to delete the Gnome-specific packages while leaving KDE intact? (Other than manually finding the packages one by one)

You might try remove gnome or gnome-desktop-environment However, these are not need by gnome, so it may not be installed. I would think removing libgtk2.0-0 and/or libgnome2-0 would get rid of most gnome stuff.
