I have a hauppage tv-cart in my computer and everything works except for the sound of my TV-programs. Otherwise I can listen to my songs and watch a movie. So it must be my line in capture device. I followed this tutorial already but with no succes. http://www.flaterco.com/kb/audio.html

It probably depends on the sound card more than anything else. I also have a Hauppauge TV tuner, and I could not get it to work with the line-in on my Audigy no matter what I tried. But it works great in the microphone jack.

Oddly, when I had Windows installed, the TV sound worked when I plugged it into the line-in, but not in the microphone.

Ok in meanwhile I could plug the jack to my stereo in the line out of my hauppauge card. Still the problem is nog fixed. I tried to put the output of my TV-cart in the MIC-jack. But still no succes, although I did
    Code:
    alsamixer -V capture
to set the AUX (or MIC) as the capture device. The soundcard is correct... Hmm please help me out. It's the only thing I couldn't manage to work in linux till now.
(maybe I should mention that I use tvtime as my TV-software)

    regards
