Question New to debian need sum help

    My question is:

I installed debian for the first time yesterday using a bootable cd image for network installation, i went through the process in the GUI, i connected to a FTP mirror in UK and started installing direct via ftp the problem is i only installed the pakage for web server when it completed the system rebooted and welcomed me into the new OS with a command prompt since then i have tried so much to get back to the GUI ftp installation pakage but i cant figure out how to do so.

I need a command to start the pakage installation via ftp.

    debianuser$ ????????????

i know it is somthing stupid but trust me i just installed it yesterday first time.
by the way is debian all text based? isn't there any GUI?
