How to have a "only browser" linux system ("kiosk")?

    Hi,

    1st..
I want (as a user) have a "only webbrowser" active system.
Thus after boot and login as that user only (ok, newcessary bg processes too!) the webbrowser must be started as the user app, fullscreen (F11, best wo that upper navigation line too!) at a specified address.

    2nd..
How to disable app close (Alt-F4) and Ctrl-Alt-Del, Alt-Tab and similar functions to quit the browser and reach the desktop or prompt?

System must run as "kiosk", so users are not allowed to enter the system.

Also urls where to find info are welcome!

    You can start here:
    http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Kiosk-HOWTO.html

The ALT-F4 and ATL-TAB are a window manager functions, so that can be set up in the window manager's configure file. ALT-CLT-DEL is an init function, which means it can also be set up in the /etc/inittab file.

You should also take a look at these other HOWTOs:

Take a look at other HOWTOs and Guiders at The Linux Documentation Project home page.
