    Windows ntfs drive question

    HI folks

    Have just installed debian/sarge with kde gui on my laptop via multi boot. And am wondering if it's possible to see the windows drive? if so how would I go about this??

    First, do you want Read Access or Read/Write Access? Second, post the output of "fdisk -l".

    Would like to read and write as using linux at home but windows at work(pain in the arse).. FDISK????

    Go to the shell, terminal, command line, what have you, and type "apt-get install ntfs-3g" and then "fdisk -l". Post the output of the latter.

    Hi thank you for your help BUT did the apt bit and got this debian:~# apt-get install nfts-g3
    Reading Package Lists... Done
    Building Dependency Tree... Done
    E: Couldn't find package nfts-g3



    any ideas??

    as per earlier post that you did

    apt-get install ntfs-3g also changed to g3
